RHINO MAINSTAGE

In this musical, set at the dawn of the 1990s, a group of New Yorkers struggle with their careers, love lives and the effects of the AIDS epidemic on their community. Mark, an aspiring filmmaker, and Roger , an HIV-positive musician, scramble for money to pay rent to their landlord and former roommate, Benny. Meanwhile, their friend Tom , a professor, has fallen for Angel, who is slowly dying of AIDS.

 

IMPORTANT HOUSEKEEPING NOTES: Seating is currently at limited capacity and patrons will be socially distanced from both our on stage actors and other patrons in the theatre. All audience members will be required to wear masks or facial covering throughout the duration of their time in the theatre and lobby. Our theatre includes hand sanitizing stations and air filters have been upgraded and air purifiers have been installed in several locations to help maintain safety and health. Our theatre also utilizes health managers to ensure the safety and well-being of our actors, staff, and patrons and those entering the building should be prepared for a touch-less temperature check and brief health survey questionnaire. "Pick Your Own Seats" is currently unavailable and all seating will be determined by the Rhino Theatre staff in cooperation with our Health Managers to ensure proper social distancing.
